Kawasaki KLX 230 Rally Build

Coming from Enduro Backgrounds to a Rally Rider

If you're planning to ride in Indonesian adventure offroad track! then you need a nimble, small, durable dual prupose/trail bike!. Bringing your big, heavy adventure bike is not an option, unless you're ready to lift over than 200 Kgs along the way.

Than my go to machine, would be Kawasaki KLX 230 SE. It's injection, not to mention air cooled and no itsy bitsy water pump just like my previous bike - a Honda CRF 250 Rally and KTM 250 EXC-F. I know I'ts not even comparable with those two, but hey! who knew even though it's under powered, it's still good enough to tackle any offroad obstacle.

Having that said. I tried to build this bike into a "Rally Look", then I met with MAKADAMGEAR which well known as a rally tower maker based in Cimahi, Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. Put an M5 Pro Rally Tower into my KLX 230.

All went well, until I realize that, there's something missing here! and yes I don't have any paper scroll roadbook holder and the prize is unbelievable high (with Tax if I'm planning to imported here), I'm no expert in Rally but just want to feel "How hard can it be, to do a Rally Raid?".

At that time a Rally Raid event are using a Digital Roadbook, so everyone can use their smartphone. I'm using an 8 inch tablet from Xiaomi, just for the sake, to have a bigger display on "Tulip".

I need to swipe here and there on the tablet, I just realize the digital roadbook are not scrolling itself! Oh silly me, with no Controller, it's going to be pain the a**. Years goes by my bike having some update from MAKADAMGEAR as new windshield, new front cover, spoiler, etc. Now my bike has become a proper Rally Bike.
